This course is empowering the trainees with the skills and techniques of draping elaborate designs and expressive textures.
Through practical draping exercises and fabric manipulation, the trainees will have the chance to complete one top and one dress, going through the entire process of cutting, sewing and finishing the garments.
OBJECTIVES
Complete two elaborate garments, using personal body measurements.
Acquire the ability to develop creative designs directly on the dress form or by manipulating the basic patterns.
Acquire the ability to develop pattern interpretations according to the style lines and volumes of a sketch.
DETAILS & FEES
The program is delivered in 2 weeks – 10 sessions.
Each session has 3 hours of training, that will consist in case studies, demonstrations, exercises and projects review.
Each trainee will receive a Completion Certificate when successfully completing this course.
